On the last Day of the “Swachhta Hi Seva” Campaign, an initiative of “Swachchh Bharat Mission”. ICAR-DRMR, Bharatpur organized a function at conference hall of this Directorate. Dr. P K Rai, Director, ICAR-DRMR, Bharatpur was the chief guest in the prize distribution ceremony which was attended by all staff members of this Directorate. Dr. Bhagirath Ram, Nodal Officer, SBA brief about the history of “Swachchh Bharat Mission of Govt. of India. Dr P K Rai, Director during his speech emphasized mostly on the importance of cleanliness at office, and at other public places. He also highlighted the main aim of the “Swachhta Hi Seva” Campaign which was to commemorate the successful completion of 2 years of “Swachchh Bharat Abhiyan” and to celebrate the birthday of the “Father of the Nation” Mahatma Gandhi who had a vision of a Clean India. Best worker award certificates were distributed to the employees of this Directorate. The programme was ended with a vote of Thanks from Dr Bhagirath Ram, Nodal Officer.
