ICAR-Directorate of Rapeseed-Mustard Research, Bharatpur observed the Swachhta Pakhwada from 15th September, 2017 to 2nd Oct, 2017 to spread the message of cleanliness, not only among staff but also in surrounding areas. Various events were organized under the Supervision of Director, Dr P K Rai, with a view to spread awareness and sensitivity in virtues of sanitation and cleanliness which was a positive step towards the achievement of the Swachchh Bharat Abhiyan (Clean India Mission), a campaign which was officially launched on 2nd October 2014 by our Prime Minister, Hon’ble Shri. Narendra Modi. The Swachchh Bharat Abhiyan aims towards creating awareness amongst the citizens to keep the surroundings and environment clean.
