To fulfill Mahatma Gandhi’s dream of a clean and hygienic India, Government of India initiated the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan to be observed by every citizen across the country. Under this Abhiyan, ICAR-DRMR, Bharatpur Observed Swachhta Pakhwada from 16-31 December, 2020 Dr. P. K. Rai, Director of the directorate stressed on the importance of cleanliness programme implemented by the Government of India. He urged the wholehearted involvement of all the employees of the directorate to keep the premises clean. During the period from 16th to 31st December, 2020, different activities were organized to create awareness among the peoples on cleanness, safe disposal of solid waste, recycling of waste, polythene free status by organizing competition among school children, training and awareness camp, farmers-scientific meeting and motivational talk etc.
