The ICAR-Indian Institute of Rapeseed-Mustard Research (IIRMR), Bharatpur celebrated its 32nd Foundation Day in hybrid mode on October 20, 2025. Dr. Devendra Kumar Yadava, DDG (Crop Science), ICAR, New Delhi, graced the occasion as Chief Guest. Dr. Arvind Kumar, Former Vice Chancellor, RLBCAU, Jhansi, attended as Special Guest, and Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Gupta, ADG (OP), ICAR, New Delhi, joined as Guest of Honour. Dr. Vijay Veer Singh, Director, ICAR-IIRMR, Bharatpur, welcomed the esteemed guests and dignitaries and highlighted the institute’s major achievements and research initiatives undertaken during the past year. Delivering the Foundation Day Lecture, Dr. Devendra Kumar Yadava congratulated the scientists and staff for the remarkable progress made by the institute. He emphasized the need to adopt cutting-edge technologies to address emerging challenges in crop improvement, resource management, plant protection, and farmer awareness to achieve national self-sufficiency in edible oils. He urged all ICAR oilseed research institutions to work in close coordination to generate a synergistic impact on oilseed research and production.
